Welcome to August's (late) monthly challenge!
Each month, members will have a chance to create a new art piece based on a theme chosen by the Digitalists admin team. You can submit your artwork to the corresponding challenge folder under the group Favorites (NOT the gallery). At the end of the month, the admins of Digitalists will announce that month's winner, who will receive a 3 Month Premium or 1200

August Monthly Challenge: Landscapes
The theme for August is: Landscapes (Your piece must feature a landscape: fantasy or realistic. It should not feature animals or people unless they are NOT the primary focus of interest.) One entry per person. The entry must be a new piece of art based on the monthly theme. That means it must be created on or after the start date of the contest (August 8th). We ONLY accept Digital entries! You can create your art using ANY medium (ie: vector, vexel, animation, fractal, photomanipulation, drawing and painting, digital mixed media, etc.) as long as it is digitally created! ALL non-digital entries will be declined! All stock and resources, if used, must be properly credited or your entry will be disqualified. Your entry must reflect the month's theme. All entries must state that the art piece was created for the Digitalists monthly challenge (you can leave a link/thumb of this journal if it is easier). The entry must be submitted to this folder: August Monthly Challenge folder by the deadline. Deadline: 
August 31, 2015, 11:59 PM PT
