I'm back in the Founder's seat of #GimmeFeedback due to some time constraints ~Hixateez had. I'm waffling between just deleting the group versus trying activities one more time. This is such a cool project and was the first of its kind; I hate to just delete it. That being said, alllllll I am doing these days is declining deviations because people are not reading the rules and providing feedback BEFORE posting.
I am willing to give it one more go if you are. ~Hixateez had some really really cool ideas, including featuring members and having more educational blogs. I'm open to anything, but the thing is I don't have a whole ton of time right now. So, I'll need partners here who can do more than offer to help-- that is, who will actually roll up their sleeves and get a bit dirty. I promise to do the same.
There are a lot of things we can do together:
So, if we do decide to move forward, I would need one or more admins in charge of each thing:
Are you interested? I'm looking for people who not only say "hey, I'll help," but who actually WILL help by taking an idea and running with it, making it their own without my having to push/remind you. Note the group if you are interested.
I'll continue to do basic admin stuff, approving and declining deviations, working on partnerships, working with the education and features teams, building things like CSS and other "fancy" stuff, and promoting us around dA.
Are you with me? How many active members/watchers do we have, anyway? Please shout back at me if you want to keep the group alive, even if you are not able to help or interested in helping. If I just hear my own voice echoing, I will take that as a sign that you're no longer interested.
Thanks!
Jade

That said, I would be very interested in this mentoring thing, if you have me.
How have you thought to organize mentoring?
I realize I answer a little late, my laptop is in maintenance.
I've been very busy with school and haven't really had much time to even be on DA, but I'm sure you remember what I said when I explained why I had to leave the admin area
Anyway, as far as this group goes, I suppose the 1 critique per 1 deviation is a good idea for now at least. I personally still think 2 critiques per 1 deviation is better because that way we get more critique in the group, but it would appear that most think that 1 per 1 would motivate them more.
I'm liking any sort of feature idea that this group will come up with! Of course, since it was one of my suggestions XD
The tag seems like a lot of fun and what you did at #communityrelations doesn't seem like a bad idea at all, either
Good luck, ^SanguineVamp and all the admins
