I've seen enough stolen work journals lately that I wanted to make sure you know exactly how to report it. A couple of things to keep in mind:
I, as a CV, cannot do anything about it. Bitching at me about it for "doing nothing" will only get you blocked and/or reported for spam.
It does NOT help to post a journal asking all 500 of your closest friends to report the stolen work. dA will pay attention to YOUR request as the artist. Third party reports get lower priority than first party (artist) reports.
Make sure you are filing a DMCA report and doing so CORRECTLY. If you do it correctly, dA staff WILL look into it.
Here's how to do it correctly:
Step 1: On the right side of the deviation, click "Report Image," about halfway down.
Step 2: On the left, select "My Intellectual Property."
Step 3: On the right side of that form (where I've circled it, below), click "File a DMCA Notice."
Step 4: Fill out the form that comes up. Notice that you have to click through a couple of pages and then submit it.
That's it. No need for fuss or drama.
I hope that helps.
