Cartoons and Comics DD Roundup - DecemberHello again everyone! Sorry if i've been confusing you with my titles ever since I started my volunteer work as the C&C CV. Apparently, I changed my mind (again) that I will solely have a special journal for my roundups and have a separate journal entry for my newsletters :)
Anyway, I still have my fingers crossed for my new series this 2013 so if you'd like to help, do drop me a note because i will need man power =D *especially if you are into drawing - i have a special work for you*. I dont need an expert drawer though, if you feel that you can draw *even stick figures*, then goooo note me :heart:

September Vector DDs and Thank YouWhat is Vector Art?
In digital art there are two layer formats: raster and vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.
When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixel effect.
When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't pixellate.
The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it!
What is a Daily Deviation?
A Daily Deviation is a site wide feature. These are selected from our galleries by Community Volunteers and from suggestions from ANYONE who is a member of deviantART!
