Dear beloved photomanipulation community . . .
Where's the love?
It seems like everywhere we look, someone is saying that the community is dying or that things are going downhill: the DDs aren't good enough, there aren't enough DDs, the wrong people are getting DDs. People are getting away with theft and copyright violations, and others are harassing them about following copyright laws that, in truth, only dA staff themselves can enforce. Meanwhile, no one is receiving feedback on their work. Where's the love?
We all want our community to be bright and strong, a place where we feel loved and where we feel comfortable coming to create and to interact with others. But, how many of us are actually willing to do something about it?
I know, we are all really busy. We all have lives and families, and sometimes trying to get involved with this community takes more effort than we are willing to expend. But, sometimes, even if everyone can just do something small, like putting together a feature or providing someone with feedback, we can make a huge difference together. Are YOU willing to be a part of the solution??

have a plan. We are going to tackle one big project in the community per month (Feedback / Critique, Mentoring, Acts of Kindness, Features, etc.), but we cannot do it alone. Before we tell you too much, we want to know who is interested in joining us.
Are you tired of negativity around the community? Are you willing to stand up and fight for a positive, supportive community? Are you willing to be active-- a little or a lot, depending on your own time and schedule-- to help, or are you one to sit by and complain while others do the hard work for you?
If you are supportive of our efforts to build a stronger photomanipulation community, let's hear from you!!
