Theme for the 2015 Coaching Competition photomanipulation contest

With the exception of a few bumps in the road, the coaching and mentoring competition seems to be going well. I've enjoyed hearing about some of your processes as you've moved forward; I'm really impressed with how things have progressed.

The final product of the coaching competition is an art collective for each team, and each member will submit one photomanipulation to that collective. The theme for that collective is:



I am leaving this intentionally vague because I want you as a team to figure it out together. Basically, team members can either all do the same myth or do separate but complementary myths. That means your collective can be different scenes or stories from the same myth, or each member can do something different. It's completely up to you.

Also, you can use any myth... Greek, Norse, Roman, whatever. Your villain could be a god who is sometimes good and sometimes bad. It can be a demon or a creature, or anything villainous. Be creative!

The rules

There are a few simple rules that need to be followed:

Each member of the team (not including coaches) turns in one photomanipulation.
No one can help you actually create your photomanipulation, but they can provide pointers and advice.
Your work must show at least one mythological villain.
In your artist's comments, please give us a BRIEF synopsis of who your villain is.
Credit ALL resources used.
State that this deviation is an entry in the Coaching Competition.
Deviations must be entered on or after August 30, 2015. The deadline is September 20th at 11:59 PM PT.

And most importantly:

Only members of the competition who have already been assigned to a team can enter. (Sorry to everyone else!)
